Our services include acute inpatient care, short-term rehabilitation and swing bed services, a 24-hour physician-staffed emergency department, laboratory and blood bank services, diagnostic imaging including CT scans, radiology, ultrasound, and 3D mammography, respiratory therapy, endoscopy services, physical, occupational, and speech therapy, telehealth and telepsychiatry services, mental health services for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, geriatric psychiatry services, our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Medicaid enrollment assistance, KidMed services, nutrition education, and medical nutrition therapy. Union General Hospital is proud to be a LERN-Certified Acute Stroke Ready Hospital, providing rapid stroke assessment and treatment capabilities, and an Advanced STEMI Referral Center, ensuring timely access to life-saving cardiac care. In addition to hospital-based services, Union General Hospital operates the Union General Rural Health Clinic in Farmerville, Louisiana, offering primary care, preventive services, chronic disease management, behavioral health services, wellness visits, and same-day appointments. Through our hospital, clinic, therapy services, behavioral health programs, and community outreach initiatives, including It's a Girl Thing, teen STD/HIV and pregnancy prevention education, anti-bullying and suicide prevention initiatives, teen drug and alcohol prevention programs, breast cancer awareness and prevention initiatives, colorectal cancer prevention programs, heart disease and diabetes prevention education, and nutrition education programs in partnership with the LSU AgCenter, we remain dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care regardless of an individual's socioeconomic status or ability to pay.
